Hayley Orrantia, an American singer-songwriter and actress. Many people know her from her role in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show 'The Goldbergs.' She believes that she is the best musician of all. Music is the first passion she maintains; it is something that she started dabbling at when she was nine years old. At the age of 12, music became significant enough that she was able to start training professionally. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was 14 when she made her first album of cover songs. Since then she's not been back. Orrantia was born in America, has Hispanic ancestry. She's proud of the existence of Hispanic origins, although she was raised speaking English only and never lived in Mexico. She tries to preserve it by becoming fluent in Spanish as well as writing songs using the language. The most famous of these songs is "Hasta Verte," a song she recorded in Spanish. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first episode of The X Factor. Orrantia was selected out of an YouTube video and was awarded 4 "yes" votes from jury during the live audition phase at Seattle, Washington. Her initial audition was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. But, three other female vocalists as well as her were brought together for auditions of for the remaining songs. The live shows were held during the week of 5th.
