Pom is pronounced similarly to both Korean words that mean "spring", and "tiger" which is why her parents chose it. Klementieff was in Canada for a time of one year, before her family traveled extensively because of her father's work. They resided throughout Japan, Ivory Coast and France prior to moving to France.
