Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit professional athlete. The co-owner is Crossfit Reykjavik where she also runs and coaches. Annie is the only woman who has won in the CrossFit Games twice. She was a second place finisher in the 2010, and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit athlete, weightlifter and media celebrity. The media acclaim came from her becoming the first woman to be the first person who taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, and in 2017, she took home in the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie, along with her parents and siblings were born and raised in Reykjavik Iceland. She was an active athlete and began working out at the age of five. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit Games in California where she performed relatively very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir's age was 31 (as in 2021). She is 5'7" tall she weighs approximately 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey in 2009 California. Annie was able to do very well in the initial matches. She was among the in the top 10 out of more than 70. In the end, she failed to achieve any championships and finished her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished in seconds place and won the gold medal same year. The following year she took part in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performances. She was the first woman to ever succeed in winning CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie also won her first CrossFit Games because of her remarkable performance. She was the first female athlete to have has won two CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and recently in 2021 won an Olympic bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Presently Annie runs and coaches for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. With rising fame as an athlete Annie is a model of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance the Nuun Hydration Periodization Sidekick among others. A few thousand people subscribe to her self-titled Youtube channel, which she uses to upload training videos, family videos as well as travel videos.
