Pickler lived in a difficult family. As a toddler, her mother fled an abusive relationship. Her return to Pickler's life in 1995 and was given custody of her. But it didn't go well. After Pickler reached the age of 12years old, the court transferred her to her maternal grandparents which raised her to adulthood. Pickler had to take care of her kids without parents. She admitted that she didn't have time to go to classes and started to be a domestic worker in the early years. Pickler was a member of the cheerleading teams of both her middle-school and high-school. North Stanly High School graduated her in 2004. Pickler is also a beauty pageant contestant.
